It was extremely competitive this year, with students competing from Torrey Pines, La Costa Canyon, RBV and Carlsbad.  First came the application, second came the essay and then the dreaded interview.  Every student practiced in earnest.  If only there were positions for all of them.

The following were selected for a position.  Congratulations!

Congrats Robotics Team!

Congratulations to the achievements of our robotics team at the annual Greater San Diego Botball Competition (http://www.botball.org/) on Saturday.  Our team built and programed two robots to independently (no remote controls) collect items and do specific tasks during a series of two minute competitions with robots from twenty-six other schools (see video recap of the event at https://goo.gl/photos/9xobTg6R9nFRhGa78 ).  OHS finished 5th overall and made it to the quarter finals.  This was the first competition for most of the team and they did an amazing job.  Please congratulate them on their hard work and perseverance if you have the opportunity.
