Disabled Parking/SeatiNG Permits Due 5/31

Families must submit a request for a disabled parking permit to the main office. Click here for a disabled parking permit request. 

Deadline to submit request for disabled parking is May 31st.

Parking is Limited!

Parking for graduation will be extremely limited. A shuttle service will be provided to transport attendees to and from the graduation ceremony.

Graduation attendee parking will be at MiraCosta College Community Learning Center located at 1831 Mission Avenue in Oceanside. Continuous shuttle service from the Learning Center to the front of the graduation will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will run to 4 p.m. 

Any patrons interested in taking Uber/Lyft should use Lot 28, north of the pier, as the designated drop off pick up location.

Gates to the event will open at 11:00 am. Arrive early.

Location: Oceanside Pier Amphitheater

Ceremony Begins 1:00 pm

Gates open 11:00 am

  • Admission Tickets: ALL graduating seniors will be issued FOUR tickets to the graduation ceremony.  Any person attending the event, regardless of age (including infants and toddlers), will be required to have a ticket to enter the graduation.  There will be no charge for admission tickets. No Exceptions: Lost tickets will not be replaced.
  • General Seating: The Pier Amphitheater has built in seating for 1,500 people, and we will provide additional seating bringing the total number of seats to 2,000. In response to the construction on Pacific Ave. and in order to ensure safety and fairness, we are limiting the number of tickets per graduate and enforcing a strict "no saving seats" policy at this year's ceremony.
  • Handicapped Seating:  A limited number of handicapped accessible seats will be available for persons requiring this type of access.  Seating in the handicapped area will be limited to the handicapped person and one attendant.  Admission Tickets will be required for anyone sitting in this area. Click here for Disabled Permit Request Form. The deadline to submit request for Handicapped Permit is May 31st.
  • Prohibited Items: Any item that blocks the view of people seated in the amphitheater (balloons, signs, umbrellas, etc...), ice chests, alcohol, tobacco, weapons of any kind.  All persons are subject to search as a condition of admission. 
  • Students must have ID Card for all graduation activities.
  • Watch Graduation Live! If you cannot attend graduation, you can watch the entire ceremony live on Cox channel 18 and or on the KOCT website

Graduation Shuttle

Shuttle Information

A shuttle service will be provided to help minimize traffic concerns because parking downtown will be extremely limited.

The shuttle will run from the MiraCosta Adult Center on Mission Ave and will drop off right in front of the venue at 401 Pier View and the NE corner of Tremont St.

The shuttle will begin service at 10:30 AM and will run to 4 PM.

Gates to the event will open at 11:00 AM. Arrive early.

A reminder that seating is first come first serve, there will be no saving seats for patrons due to the limited capacity for the venue.

June weather can be very unpredictable. It may be very warm or overcast. Small handheld umbrellas are recommended for shade while waiting for the event to begin.

OHS band will be selling water and we will have a local vendor setting up a food truck to serve snacks and refreshments inside the venue.

Important Dates!

Senior Check Out 6/11 1:30 pm

Be sure that your books are turned in and your debts are cleared by June 6th and definitely before you come to Senior Check Out! We will begin distributing Green Check Out Slips on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 1:30-3:00 pm. 

Cap & Gown and Tickets Distribution 6/12 1:00 pm

Caps & Gowns, along with graduation tickets, will be distributed on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 from 1:00-2:30 pm in the OHS GYM. Be sure to bring your ID Card & Green Check Out Slip.

Graduation Rehearsal 6/12 noon

Students are required to attend rehearsal on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Noon.

Students will receive information regarding procedures, rules, and arrival time for the ceremony. Any student not at rehearsal may not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.

Cap & Gown distribution will follow immediately in the OHS Gym from 1:00-2:30 pm. 

Clear All Debts by 6/6

Be sure to clear ALL debts (Textbooks, Library, Athletics, Etc...). All school property including athletic and music property, textbooks, library books, parking permits, etc... must be turned in and/or fines must be paid by Thursday, June 6, 2019.  Students with outstanding debts will NOT be allowed to check out or to participate in graduation ceremonies. 


The Spring Hill Suites Oceanside is Marriott's newest addition to the San Diego area and is offering a special rate for Oceanside High School Graduation.  The hotel is a 30 second walk to the beach and the Oceanside Pier. They are located just across the street from the Oceanside Amphitheater.
