McAlister Institute for Treatment & Education:  works with students regarding adolescent substance use and the cost is free. Referrals are made through OHS counselors and administrators. Mr. Terrance Sawyer works with students: Mondays, 2:45-4:30 & Wednesdays, 12-2. Contact info: 619-362-0155 (cell) or email, ncoastaltrc@mcalisterinc.org. He is located in U123 at OHS.

IMPACT Program: offered through Lifeline and the cost is free. Referrals are made through OHS counselors and administrators. Students receive counseling services and drug and gang awareness interventions. The program works with both students and their families.

GEAR UP

Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is a federal funded grant that serves the graduating classes of 2017 & 2018! We provide multiple services to ensure students are prepared for college and career readiness.
