Reporting your student's absence

All absences must be reported by parent/guardian. Please call 760-901-8202

Attendance Policy

Students are expected to attend school every day. School district policy and California state law requires daily school attendance for those between the ages of 6 and 18.

Students who miss school due to illness, medical appointments, family funerals, or court dates must check in with attendance upon their return. Students will not be admitted to class without a readmit slip from the attendance clerk.

Parents must call in absences at 760-901-8202

Students are expected to be on time. Students must be in their 1st period class ready to learn at 7:30 a.m. Passing periods are 7 minutes long, and give them plenty of time to get from class to class, and to use the restrooms as needed. Students who are out of class when the bell rings are considered tardy and will be assigned lunch detention.
